Track Bids, Tricks & Scores Like a Pro

CardLedger is a premium offline score tracking utility application for Call Break players. It eliminates the need for pen and paper by offering round logging, automatic score calculations, partner game modes, match history lists, and deep statistics profiles.

Scoring aligns with traditional Call Break rules:

• Match Bids: Player scoring equals their bid if they secure exactly that number of tricks.
• Overtricks: Extra tricks secured beyond the bid add 0.1 points each (e.g. bidding 3 and winning 4 scores 3.1).
• Penalties: Failing to match the bid results in negative points equal to the bid amount (e.g. bidding 4 and winning 3 scores -4.0).

In Partner Mode, players are divided into two teams (Player 1 + Player 3, and Player 2 + Player 4). The app groups scores together, adding bids and tricks won by teammates in each round to calculate team standings automatically.

No. CardLedger is completely offline-first. All game calculations, scoreboard logging, database writes, and historical statistical views operate locally on your device with no internet connection required.

Your matches, scores, and statistics are stored securely in a local database file directly on your mobile device. IND Tech Mark does not run cloud sync servers or access your local database. Your data is private.

Yes. To support ongoing development and keep CardLedger free, the app displays advertisements on selected screens. However, we ensure ads never interrupt active matches or scoring (see our Advertising Principles below).

No. CardLedger is designed for uninterrupted gameplay. Advertisements are only shown on the Home, History, and Stats screens, and occasionally after a completed match. Ads never interrupt active matches or scoring, and do not appear while entering bids, tricks, or inside active gameplay dialogs.

CardLedger is free to download and use. Carefully placed advertisements support ongoing development, maintenance, bug fixes, and new features while ensuring ads never interrupt active score tracking or gameplay.

Inside the settings drawer, there is an Export Database option. This packages your local database file, letting you save it to your phone directory, send it via email, or upload it to Google Drive. To restore, simply select Import Database and choose your saved file.

Yes. The application is completely free to download and use with full access to matches, rounds, partner systems, and profiles.

Yes! CardLedger creates performance records for each player profile. The Stats screen highlights total wins, games played, consecutive winning streaks, highest bid records, average score per round, and historical score charts.

CardLedger itself collects no personal data. However, Google AdMob and Google UMP process consent information and device identifiers for compliance and ad serving purposes. All match records and statistics stay stored locally on your device.

Players must follow the suit that was led. If you cannot match the suit, you must play a Spade (trump) if you hold one. If you have no cards of the led suit and no Spades, you can discard any other card. The trick is won by the highest Spade or, if no Spades were played, by the highest card of the suit led.

Overtricks are tricks won in excess of your initial bid. Each overtrick yields 0.1 points (for example, bidding 3 and winning 5 tricks scores 3.2 points). Bidding accurately is key to high scoring since overtricks yield less than full bid points.

In Partner Mode, scores are calculated by summing the teammates' bids and tricks collectively. If a team wins fewer total tricks than their combined bid, they 'break' and lose points equal to their total bid (e.g., a combined bid of 7 resulting in only 6 tricks won leads to a penalty of -7.0 points).

A dedicated app like CardLedger automates all the arithmetic (including decimals for overtricks and negative sums for failed bids) instantly, keeping the game night fast-paced. It also saves match archives to track win/loss history, streaks, and leaderboards, which is impossible on paper without manual recording.
